DJ/Radio Producer-turned-Lawyer attempts to dress like a grown-up. Sometimes I comically fail. And I occasionally post fun stuff, like music videos, book-club reviews, or photos of beauty or oddity.
FYI: I was doing this entire blog from my Android phone, snatching moments out of my busy life for quick photos. But I hate auto-correct with a purple passion, so now I'm using the computer for most of the work. I am still using my phone for the photos, though. My photo sizes may be erratic, and the quality isn't stellar. I am not a professional blogger, and do not have time for lots of scenic poses with a great camera. I don't even own a great camera! However, I DO appreciate your continued feedback, even in the absence of photographic artistry.

But Officer…

I will exercise next week… I promise:

Hyuk…hyuk… We just did a little Halloween shopping when we were in Allentown visiting a friend. This will be the first year I have EVER worn a store-bought costume. Wow.

Somehow, I always feel like this top looks better IRL than in photos. Or am I kidding myself?

This pic was supposed to look "pensive", not "PO'd". Oh well....

I FINALLY got a clearer photo of my Russian pendant, its so delicate and pretty that its tough to get a pic doing it justice. Even this one really doesn't accomplish that task:

Aaaand I wore the purple flats again:

I have doing little but driving, sitting, and eating junk all weekend. The last couple weeks or so have been pretty bad. Travelling wreaks havoc on any health goals… Ugh. Tomorrow I have to choose between lifting and yoga… I think it's going to be lifting, before I lose more strength than I already have. *sigh*

  1. Have I told you before how much I love those purple shoes?

My healthy eating plan and exercise goals fall to the wayside too when I take a competition trip. :(

  3. Many clothes look better IRL; they just don't photograph well. The pendant is cute.

  7. My yoga teachers are focused on strength building as much as anything else. We do lots of planks and core work. I often have sore muscles.
You look lovely and I adore those shoes.

  8. Beautiful pendant. thanks for stopping by. a trolley coin is the same size and weight of a pound coin which can be used to release shopping trolleys, this saves the frustration of searching for a pound coin to release the trolley

  12. I was there when mom bought that necklace. It was from a vendor at the Tulip Time festival in Holland, MI. ;) So you can put "art fair" as the source if you like!
