DJ/Radio Producer-turned-Lawyer attempts to dress like a grown-up. Sometimes I comically fail. And I occasionally post fun stuff, like music videos, book-club reviews, or photos of beauty or oddity.
FYI: I was doing this entire blog from my Android phone, snatching moments out of my busy life for quick photos. But I hate auto-correct with a purple passion, so now I'm using the computer for most of the work. I am still using my phone for the photos, though. My photo sizes may be erratic, and the quality isn't stellar. I am not a professional blogger, and do not have time for lots of scenic poses with a great camera. I don't even own a great camera! However, I DO appreciate your continued feedback, even in the absence of photographic artistry.

Excuses, excuses

So I spent my evening yesterday in my shoe/jacket/accessories closet. Yes, my apartment may have only one bedroom, but has-- count 'em-- THREE closets!! Two of which are mine. Yeah, I got it like that.

But I'm not posting pics until I get both of them organized and photogenic. Maybe sometime in 2015....

I'm storing the toe-crunchers until I lose weight and see if my feet shrink back to pre-obeast proportions. I'm also storing a pair that have a teeny narrow heel, to see if my ankles strengthen up a bit. And because "elephant on a golf tee" is not the look I'm going for. I'm also donating a few pair that I just don't like anymore.

The rest, that I haven't been wearing for awhile but fit me right now, I took to my podiatrist this morning for Doc to adjust so I can actually wear them. Two bags full. Then he stuck a giant needle in my foot! He said his office will call me when my freshly-padded shoes are ready. Men! They always SAY they will call... should I hold my breath?

Anyway, I rewore the pants and shoes from yesterday because it's Friday and I'm lazy, so I figured I'd show the flipside of my hexagon pendant. So I could actually post photos today. I try not to repost if I'm wearing the exact same combinations already posted.

I think the red pendant and jacket previously posted with this top is just a bit sharper.

Top: Tribal via Pip's in Corning, NY
Jacket: VanHusen outlet
Necklace: gift from Mom
Earrings: Gold Mine in Bath, NY

  1. I smiled when I saw you describe your pendant as a "hexagon."

And I like seeing you smile so broadly.

  2. So pretty. Love those colors on you. Keep your shoes- your feet will shrink! Organizing is so tedious but rewarding-good for you.

  3. You look gorgeous! Love that smile, and don't see it enough. *Sardonic may be funny, but it's not pretty!* And you are pretty, my dear, no matter how much sarcasm you slather over the top. :P
