DJ/Radio Producer-turned-Lawyer attempts to dress like a grown-up. Sometimes I comically fail. And I occasionally post fun stuff, like music videos, book-club reviews, or photos of beauty or oddity.
FYI: I was doing this entire blog from my Android phone, snatching moments out of my busy life for quick photos. But I hate auto-correct with a purple passion, so now I'm using the computer for most of the work. I am still using my phone for the photos, though. My photo sizes may be erratic, and the quality isn't stellar. I am not a professional blogger, and do not have time for lots of scenic poses with a great camera. I don't even own a great camera! However, I DO appreciate your continued feedback, even in the absence of photographic artistry.

Trainwreck to follow:

Nothing good here today... I was too lazy to go to the basement to get the laundry, so I decided to wear Monday's brown pants that never made it to the laundry pile. "Clean enough"!

Rooting around my closet, I saw the blue top I had tailored to fit. And brown-and-blue is a popular combination with my fashionable commenters... so I ironed it:

Guess I should have tried it on when I picked it up from the tailor... derh!

*sigh* Usually the seam across the back works wonders... guess not this time.... Weird, this baggy top seems to reduce the size of my butt, comparatively... but I'd rather look chubby than sloppy!

Because I'm a snooze abuser, I didn't have time to iron anything else... so my attempt at a fix:

So this is a big fat fail on my second attempt at this concept, but it was the best I could do today because I'm a lazy bum.

Oh yeah! I didn't leave time to blow-dry my hair today either, and it is particularly bad today! At least my makeup looks good....

  4. It's funny how different women are from men. You're agonizing over not looking optimal when you were busy and rushed; yet you still look good. Men don't even try to look good (and usually look lousy) and yet they don't worry about it at all. What a paradox!

  5. sweetie, you are a much smaller size than you think you are!! That shirt is TOO big for you! Just look at the sleve cuffs! you need something smaller! You have a beautiful little figure and your clothes should show it off! I like the fitted shirt look and vest, but you are definatly (at least) a size smaller! MWAH!
