DJ/Radio Producer-turned-Lawyer attempts to dress like a grown-up. Sometimes I comically fail. And I occasionally post fun stuff, like music videos, book-club reviews, or photos of beauty or oddity.
FYI: I was doing this entire blog from my Android phone, snatching moments out of my busy life for quick photos. But I hate auto-correct with a purple passion, so now I'm using the computer for most of the work. I am still using my phone for the photos, though. My photo sizes may be erratic, and the quality isn't stellar. I am not a professional blogger, and do not have time for lots of scenic poses with a great camera. I don't even own a great camera! However, I DO appreciate your continued feedback, even in the absence of photographic artistry.

Should I buy this sweater, or wait for the drugs to wear off?

Back to the dentist for more work, with more laughing gas. There's a clothing store nearby, so when he was done drilling holes into my head for the day, I browsed until my head cleared. And I found:

The neat part is that it's reversible:

Or am I still high? Your vote?

This is why it sucks, sucks, SUCKS to be allergic to wool:

Perfect color, super-high quality fabric, gorgeous embroidery and carved buttons... interesting without being over the edge. I could wear this to work.

If my face wouldn't explode and I wouldn't want to claw my own skin off.

Back on the rack, my beauty.... Here's what I looked like today (pre-drilling):

What's wrong with this picture?

My earring fell out at some point this morning. No clue where it wandered off to. Should I put out an alert?

My dentist gave me Tylenol 3 for the pain... good thing I'm home now, so I can't shop!

Black Sweater: Tribal via Pip's in Corning, NY
Scarf: BonTon
Checked Jacket: Talbot's
Pants: Lane Bryant
Earring (singular): consignment shop

  1. I like today's outfit, and I actually like the bonkers sweater. Which probably means you shouldn't buy it.

  2. Whoa! That's some sweater.

Tastes vary, so I won't judge... I'd have to be very high to buy that one!

  3. I think you look really pretty today! Sorry about the missing earring. That happened to me once... And it was a REAL pearl earring! I was really sad :(.

  4. The good: I like your outfit today. The bad: I don't care how much medication you're on, all of those sweaters should be put out of their misery in a bonfire!

  5. I don't mind the zig-zag one! I do think you'd need to have a bit of a bohemian, pattern-y thing going to carry it off, though.

  7. Not really feeling the sweater but I loove the case your Droid is in!. I need a cute case like that when I upgrade my Blackberry to a Droid in Feb. Great jacket and I feel your pain about the earring, I lost one of my favorite silver hoops and I was almost livid about it.

  10. I feel your pain on the allergic to wool bit! I go near the stuff and it's hive city. Which made my grandma's house, full of wool carpets, an interesting and itchy place to visit.
