Saturday, Hubby and I went to a casual afternoon party involving ribs and something called "cowboy cake", which is corn cake with apple pie-filling topping. Amazing!

I think it needs a peroxide soak, along with my NZ fish hook I wore to the wedding a couple weekends ago. They are now both yellower than my teeth!
But I keep it because it's unusual, and I keep hoping I will find earrings that go with. Hasn't happened yet, though!

that cake sounds delish! 2nd recipe this week that i've seen that put things inside the cornbread. the other was hotdogs...so like mini "corndog" cupcakes.
