DJ/Radio Producer-turned-Lawyer attempts to dress like a grown-up. Sometimes I comically fail. And I occasionally post fun stuff, like music videos, book-club reviews, or photos of beauty or oddity.
FYI: I was doing this entire blog from my Android phone, snatching moments out of my busy life for quick photos. But I hate auto-correct with a purple passion, so now I'm using the computer for most of the work. I am still using my phone for the photos, though. My photo sizes may be erratic, and the quality isn't stellar. I am not a professional blogger, and do not have time for lots of scenic poses with a great camera. I don't even own a great camera! However, I DO appreciate your continued feedback, even in the absence of photographic artistry.

Argh!

Banner day at work on Wednesday....

That's all I'm going to say about that....

At least I may have finally figured out to winterize this summer top... or am I delusional?

I think I have my answer....

Of course, I never did properly switch out my wardrobe for the winter like I normally do. And I've put on a few pounds, compounding the wardrobe challenges. It doesn't seem as much fun for me as it seems to be for the bloggers trying to avoid buying maternity clothes by getting creative. Emmett Katherine and Elaine really do a great job at adapting their clothes to accommodate their growing baby bumps. It's not as cute when the "bump" is "Little Debbie"!

Kept the accessories pretty low-key again, so at least I didn't compound my error:

This once was two necklaces. I put them together for length... and could never get them apart again:

I woke up to sn*w (I'm so sorry for using such filthy language in my blog!), so I decided that my brown suede flats weren't the way to go. Back to these babies again:

  4. i have tried the setting spray after i apply everything. i don't usually wear powder as my face is very dry. Do an "x" and "t" spray across your face.
If you need super duper coverage, spray before applying makeup and then after doing makeup. I did a post on it.

  5. There are always hard days at work, but that kind of top has to bring a bit of a smile. I think you did a great job winterizing it while still letting the happy colors out!

I think this top is fine for winters, but I think I'd like to see it paired with more of a fitted jacket.
